23 آبان مصادف با 14 نوامبر، که سالگرد تولد "فردریک بانتینگ" کاشف انسولین می باشد، به نام روز جهانی دیابت نامیده شده است. ، این ابتکار اولین بار با همکاری بنیاد بین‌المللی دیابت (IDF) و سازمان جهانی بهداشت (WHO) به انجام رسید که هدف از آن افزایش آگاهی عمومی در ارتباط با علل، عوارض، پیشگیری و درمان دیابت بعنوان شایعترین بیماری متابولیک می باشد. در سال 2006 میلادی و پس از تصویب قطعنامه ای، سازمان ملل نیز این روز را به رسمیت شناخت.
زخم پای دیابتی یکی از عوارض ناتوان کننده در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت و از دلایل اصلی قطع عضو می باشد، از همین رو شناسایی دقیق و سریع عوامل بیماریزا و تجویز آنتی بیوتیک مناسب برای درمان سریع و جلوگیری از قطع عضو حیاتی است. با این حال، مسئله مقاومت دارویی و عدم تاثیر آنتی‌بیوتیک ها با سرعت زیادی در حال پیشرفت است.
در این طرح تحقیقاتی، نمونه خون ثابتی که سطح HbA1c آن با روش مرجع سنجیده شده بود در 3 مرحله به تعدادی از آزمایشگاه های سطح شهر اصفهان فرستاده شد تا صحت اندازه گیری سطح HbA1c در همان نمونه ثابت در آزمایشگاه های مختلف مشخص گردد.
پس از تلاش های مستمر و بی وقفه و با توجه به رفع مشکلات موجود در روند تولید، نمونه های نهایی قلم های تزریق انسولین توسط شرکت ویستا دانش امید آماده و تولید گردید. این قلمها به منظور تزریق انسولین یا سایر داروهایی که می بایست به صورت مستمر و به شکل تزریقی استفاده گردند مورد استفاده قرار می گیرند که پس از طی شدن مراحل تائید فنی و بالینی آنها با همکاری مرکز تحقیقات غدد و متابولیسم، امکان ورود این قلمها به بازار داروئی کشور فراهم خواهد گردید.
In this project, researchers will compare the antibacterial activitiy of Lucilia Sericata larvae secretions/extractions against a common gram-positive and a common gram-negative bacteria isolated from diabetic foot ulcers with those of topical antibiotic preparations. They also determine the minimum inhibitory concentration, minimum bactericidal concentration and antibiofilm activity of Lucilia Sericata larvae secretions and extractions.
Dr Mahin Hashemipour, Dr Mansour Siavash and Dr Gholamreza Askari , heads of Metabolic Liver Diseases Research Center, Endocrine and Metabolism Research Center and Food Security Research Center reached an agreement on establishing “Research Institute for Nutrition, Endocrinology and Liver Metabolism Disorders” during a meeting On January 22 , 2022. According to this agreement, the related authorities from 3 centers will collaborate for advancing the official process necessary for establishment of The Research Institute.
Regarding the high prevalence of pre-diabetes in Iran, the Isfahan Endocrine and Metabolism Research Center is preparing a research project on prevention of cardiometabolic disorders. Participants will be male and female residents of three areas of the Isfahan city aged ≥20 years. After screening the study population based on risk factors and the results of FBS, those with increased risk will be evaluated further by OGTT. According to the OGTT results, participants will be classified in different groups with different interventions.
The design of a large scale research project entitled “Evaluation of Bone Health Status in Female Population Aged ≥ 40 Years“ will be completed soon at the Isfahan Endocrine and Metabolism Research Center. During the Study, the researchers will evaluate the fracture risk score of the female population aged ≥ 40 years living in three areas of the Isfahan city, each covered by an urban health care center. According to the calculated fracture risk scores, the participants will be divided into normal, osteopenic and osteoprotic groups and will receive different interventions.
با توجه به تکمیل تولید نمونه های آزمایشی قلم های تزریق انسولین توسط شرکت ویستا دانش امید، بزودی آزمایش های مختلف مرتبط با وضعیت عملکرد و رضایت کاربران از قلم های تولیدی آغاز خواهد گردید. در مرحله فعلی، این قلمها برای تزریق انواع انسولینهای انسانی مورد بررسی قرار خواهند گرفت.
